Aaron Hamill and me

Last night I had the most curious dream.

In it, I was drinking at Richmond's gay bar, DT's, where I met the (allegedly closeted) St Kilda footballer Aaron Hamill. As he was alone, I invited him to drink with myself and my friends, which resulted in me selling him a spare ticket to the Merdith Music Festival. I recall that he came and camped out with us, but after that it's all a blur.

I wonder what it all means? For starters, I don't fancy him, or barack for the Saints...

I'm disappointed that the previous two comments haven't led you to the rather obvious dream explanation.

Mr Hamill is representative of your love of tattoos. Tickets in dreams represent a needing or a loss of a pet or favourite item of clothing. The fact that you were in a place that was comfortable and appealing to you means that you will soon attempt a long and stressful voyage.

The combination of all these three focal points in your dream mean that you'll soon find yourself nude on deck on the Spirit of Tasmania. Have fun.

Adam - appealing, although I suspect chilly. Could perhaps a more prosaic reading suggest that my need for tattoos will soon result in a long session in the inking chair?

And whats wrong with being a lush??? :-)

I remember the day with I was smimming at the MSAC and the Carlton footy team were having a recovery session. Well I went to have a shower after I finished swimming and about 2 minutes later the boys came in to shower too. It was a very special day as I got to see half the carlton footy team naked including Aaron.

What does this have to do with your dream. Nothing, I just wanted to share my little story. He has a nice cock by the way!

The streets of old Fitzroy

I've lived in Fitzroy for 14 years, and long before I moved here spent some formative moment in its pubs and terrace houses. I have an unpublished novel that set's in Fitzroy in the 1940s (originally it was set in the 1950s but I've realised it was the wrong period). I love this suburb, even as it changes before my eyes, which is why I love articles and photographs and stories of its past.   From the Herald-Sun , here's a series of images of the old inner city slums that once characterised much of Fitzroy.
